Cassiopeia 6 years | pegasus | mare | outcast
| [atrb=width,400] [style=font-family: times new roman; text-align: center; letter-spacing: -1px; font-size: 23px; color: #313838;] Appearance
pegasus | 15.1 hands high | blue roan
Cassiopeia (Pronounced Ka-see-u'pee-u) is embraced with a coat of blue roan that is somewhat darker than average, with darker 'points' around her legs and face.
She is endowed with two massive feathered wings that protrude from her back. They start as the same color as her body, with darker primary feathers, similar to the color of her face and legs. A leonine tail graces her hind quarters, with a long tuft on the end. Her mane and tail are coalesced with a variety of different shades of brown and black, some light and some dark. Both are long and flowing, her mane gently cascading down from the crest of her neck to lightly stroke her bosom. Her forelock is lengthy and sleek, tumbling down to the right of her face. A small amount of viridian foliage clings to the silken hairs.
Her face is adorned with eyes like the clearest of crystals. They play havoc with the light, occasionally appearing azure, other times green, but are usually somewhere in between the two. The pupil is almost unnoticeable, giving her a mysterious, almost eerie look about her. She is adorned with a few peculiarly placed white markings; one on her barrel just before her haunches on the right side of her body, a white blotch near her withers before her wings, and a white marking on her left ear that seems to trickle down.
Personality
sympathetic | thoughtful | loyal | passionate
Passionate. Loyal. Cassiopeia loves without holding back. She isn't necessarily a hopeless romantic, but the idea of true love appeals greatly to her. She is a very emotional individual, and is extremely devoted to the ones she loves. Protectiveness is another trait that she possesses, and it is probably stemmed from her amative nature. She would likely make a great mother, given the chance.
She is also very playful and lighthearted. She doesn't like to take life too seriously, though there is a time and place for everything.

History
early life | helovia history
Early Life - The very first thing Cassiopeia's feeble young body ever felt was the gentle lapping of saline waters. She was given life to in a land called Valryn as liquid moonlight gently caressed her dainty figure. She was born to a stunning sabino pegasus by the name of Khalira. From the moment of her birth, the roan filly had an avid fixation with the stars. Perhaps this admiration for celestialness had stemmed from her magical abilities, which she had acquired genetically through her progenitors.
Sexism was deeply entrenched into Valryn's culture. Those with an abundance of estrogen were prohibited to practice the art of warfare. Females were seen as the lesser sex, and they were not permitted to be warriors. Cassiopeia deeply loathed this.
Helovia History
o. Leaves Valryn early one morning during Frostfall. She travels aimlessly for many days, before she finally enters the Threshold of Helovia. She proceeds into the eerily quiet landscape, following the scent of other horses. She is soon greeted by a mysterious stallion who tells her about the history of Helovia.
o. A few days succeeding the encounter, she meets a pegasus stallion named Azzuen in the Thistle Meadow. He gives her the nickname Cass to seal their friendship and declares himself her protector. The two frolic in the snowy meadow before parting ways.
o. Comes across Kri the Resolute, Azzuen and Eidolan in the Heavenly Fields one day, discussing Kri's desire to take over a herd land for the pegasus, who were currently nomadic. Cassiopeia offers to help the cause by enlisting her limited skills as a warrior to serve as a footman for her band of pegasus, known as the Tuuli.
o. Kri offers to help train her to prepare for the invasion, and the two spar a few days later in the same location.
o. Ventures into Helovia's Threshold in search of newcomers, and comes across a pegasus stallion by the name of Irc. She tells him about the Tuuli and he agrees to join the cause as a footman. Khrysor is also present, but he expresses to urgent desire to join the cause.
o. Is wandering around the Endless Blue on night, and summons her magic to animate the constellation Columba, the dove. Azzuen happens to be flying nearby, and comes to investigate. She accepts that she has developed feelings for the stallion, and the two talk for a little while. She shows him her magic once again, orchestrating the eagle, Aquila, to alight upon his withers. He then demonstrates his magic to her.
o. Arrives at the meeting for the members and allies of the Tuuli. Azzuen is also there, and the two exchange fond glances. Cassiopeia remains mostly quiet, speaking up only to announce her allegiance.
o. Birdsong gradually transcends across Helovia. Cassiopeia finds herself drawn to the Secret Grove, where she remains in solitude. Azzuen eventually appears as she had desired. She declares her love for him, and he admits that he shares in her passion. The two embrace each other dearly, until, in an amorous display of affection, they breed. Cassiopeia falls pregnant with her first foal.
o. Wanders to the Endless Blue the following morning, and finds a turquoise Goddess of the Moon amulet. At that time, Azzuen arrives. He implores her not to endanger herself by fighting in the invasion, and she reluctantly agrees, suggesting that she could become an informant instead. They decide to consult with Kri first. Cassiopeia then proposes the name Cirrus for their foal if it turns out be a filly. They take a walk along the shore, and Azzuen tells her of his past, of Isilme, and of his family. Later, they frolic in the shallow depths of the ocean.
o. Follows Azzuen's scent to the Thistle Meadow. He had called upon Kri to confer with her about their best choice of action.
o. Is exploring Helovia one day and flies to Helovia's Heart. Her stomach was now swollen with pregnancy, though she had a bit longer until the foal was ready to be born. She lands to rest her wings, and is approached by the equine mare Enheduanna, who is also pregnant.
Other
star breather | night dweller | stealing amulet
Star Breather - Light x Wind - Can animate the constellations in the sky and bring them to Earth for a limited amount of time. She can only animate one constellation at a time. The constellation is the size of the natural animal it depicts. It cannot be wounded, but its attacks will deal physical damage like a mortal animal of its type, as well as leave a mild burn and numb sensation wherever it touches. The constellation does not look like a regular animal, and is consisted of a multitude of glowing opalescent points of light.
Night Dweller - Cassiopeia is stronger at night than she is during the day. She gathers energy from the moon's light, and feels more rejuvenated during a full moon.
Stealing Amulet - God of the Moon - Cassiopeia is in possession of a teal God of the Moon amulet that is capable of replicating a magical ability and store it to be used at a later time when magic is cast in the vicinity. It is strung around her neck by a metal chain. The amulet washed up the shore of the Endless Blue in the Birdsong of year one.
