Breed: Connemara x Thoroughbred
Species: Unicorn
Height: 14.1 hands
Eyes: Black
Color: White
Markings: Three horizontal slashes across the bridge of his nose. The first (closest to his eyes) is the shortest, with the middle being a bit longer, and the third (closest to his nose) being the longest. These slashes are solid black outlined in dark green. Long scar on right shoulder.
Health: Healthy
Personality:
Off of the battlefield Ned is a truly sweet individual. He is kind and willing to help those that are in need of his help, especially the mares. He likes to flirt, though nothing ever really comes from it. He likes to play around and have fun and his fun sometimes inculdes playing little pranks on his fellow guard mates, with Nik often being the butt of his jokes and pranks. If there is one thing Ned absolutely hates it is jokes about his height. Being so much shorter than the rest of the guard has caused him to develop a case of shortman syndrome. Being called a pony or a leprechaun will often earn the offender a slough if cusses aimed at him and, in extreme cases, a nice little slice from his horn. There is a time and place, however, where pranks and jokes are not acceptable. On the battlefield Ned sheds all of his good humor. He is cold and clinical and will pick apart his enemy. The battlefield is the one place where he embraces his height. Often the ones he fights against stand taller than him, allowing for him to use his horn in the fashion it was designed for; gutting his opponents.

History:
Ned was barely a yearling when he was taken from his mother to be trained as one of the emperor's warriors. At first his small stature, which can be atributed to his Silver-Smoke bloodline, caused him to be trained in the art of being a Silver-Smoke. His training taught him to move in ways that larger horses can't. He learned to plunge his blade-like horn into another's soft belly and gut them before moving on to his next target. As he grew, however, he became too large to fit into the Silver-Smoke ranks, and so he was moved to the Army where he was put in the same group as Silverline. Here he was taught a different way of fighting, but Ned was comfortable with Silver-Smoke style combat and rarely strayed from it, which caused him to win numerous fights against his taller counterparts.
With their training complete, Ned was sent out with Silverline and a few others under the command of Echelon to guard Vanthra's borders. They were there for a year and in that year Silverline advanced in the ranks, which Ned was grateful for. The small stallion had no desire to lead a troop and would rather follow Silverline, who he had grown to be friends with and trust. Months later they were called back to Vanthra, but it was not the same place he remembered. Before they were looked upon with respect, now they were looked at with disgust and hatred. Not long after his return he learned of Lionheart's death and a sense of impending doom came over the stallion.
Ned, along with Echelon, Zawodnik, Ruka, Marien, Irene, Leon, and several others stood side by side against the emperor and his corruption. It was then that the emperor sent his won army after them and, while in the midst of battle, the Silver-Smoke. One by one his comrades fell. Ned, himself, was wounded by one of the Silver-Smoke. It was aimed to gut him, but Ned's quick movement caused the Silver-Smoke's horn to plunge into his shoulder. It was ripped down, slicking skin and laying muscle bare to the elements. Blood pooled around him, but Ned still fought until he killed the offending Silver-Smoke.
Run!
The command echoed in his ears and so, Ned ran. He found Echelon shortly after and, once the skies cleared, he set out with his friend and leader to find if there was anyone in their troop that was still alive. They found Zawodnik first and the three of them searched until they pieced their tattered group together. When they found Silverline was missing they all set off in search of their general.
Isilme:
1. Ned enters Isilme with the Vanthrans. Here they meet Huyana, who tells them they are not welcome. An argument ensues and she tells them Silverline is in the Tides.
2. The troop moves on to the Tides and Echelon calls out to Silverline. Paladin arrives and tells them they are trespassing and disturbing the peace. Silverline arrives shortly after. Ned is the first to see him and races to greet his general.
