Tiberius Pegasus | Stallion | 9 years | [atrb=width,550]
Name: Tiberius Age: 9 Species: Pegasus Breed: Andalusian Height: 15.3hh Color: Bay Markings: White muzzle, Scarring on right shoulder
Appearance: At nine years old Tiberius has just come into his prime. He is a handsome, well muscled stallion. His coat is a deep mahogany color while his mane and tail are jet black. His legs are black as well, with no hint of a white marking anywhere. The only lightened portion of his coat is his muzzle. It almost looks as if he dipped it into white paint, but it certainly stands out in stark contrast to the rest of his figure. His wings are feathered and rather plain, blending in with the rest of his body. Tiberius's eyes are an average brown though they are most often at least partially obscured by his forelock.
Upon closer examination one might find there was something odd about his front right leg. From his knee up his shoulder and to his neck is some deep scarring. It is the result of a fight with his brother and despite any attempts to heal it, the scars persist. Thus, he walks with a slight limp. It is more stiffness than pain that keeps him from walking normally, though it tends to be more painful on some days than others. Thankfully his wings were spared giving him full mobility in the air.
Personality:Tiberius isn't entirely unpleasant to be around, but it does take a special sort of creature to look past his attitude. He seems to be a quiet fellow, preferring solitude and the company of only his closest friends. Friendship is something he does not regularly give away. When pushed to open up he will most certainly show his arrogance and his grouchiness. He thinks himself above most others regardless of race. The arrogance is mostly in his head as he is constantly justifying to himself how he is better than others regardless of whether or not that is actually the case. In reality he is quite self conscious due to the way his brother treated him as they grew up. His scars didn't help his view of himself as he sees them as weakness, a sign of failure.
He is a bit of a misogynist due to experiences with one particular mare in his past. It isn't that he hates all mares without exception, but he finds them to be fickle and moody. He doesn't easily trust others and he generally has a very pessimistic view of the world. The way he sees it, everyone is out to get ahead in the world regardless of who they have to destroy to get there.
History:A native to Helovia, Tiberius grew up in a small band of Pegasus. His brother Augustus was a year older than him and constantly picked on Tiberius when their mother wasn't watching. Problems with his self image started at a young age. Augustus was a strongly marked paint with the bluest of eyes. Those in the band seemed to constantly praise Augustus for his handsomeness while Tiberius was ignored. Things started to change though as they both came of age. First Augustus was kicked out and then less than a year later Tiberius followed. The two went their separate ways for a while with Augustus joining up with another band. Tiberius lived on his own for a while until finding himself faced with an invitation to the same band.
There he met Estella. She was a rather plain chestnut mare, but somehow the two hit it off almost immediately. They quickly became inseparable, grazing together in the Heavenly Fields and constantly grooming each other. Augustus ,who fancied himself more handsome and desirable than his brother, didn't like the idea of Tiberius encroaching on his territory even though Estella wasn't the type of mare he typically went after. Augustus needed to prove to himself that he could still beat his brother and so Augustus tried to seduce Estella. It took a while but eventually it worked and Estella found herself having to choose between the two brothers.
The fact that Estella even had to think about the choice upset Tiberius as he felt that if she had truly loved him she would have chosen him above Augustus. The choice was made for him however as Augustus bred Estella without Tiberius's knowledge. Furious and heartbroken when he found out she carried his brother's foal, Tiberius lashed out at his brother in anger. The two of them got into a heated battle culminating in Tiberius receiving deep lacerations all along his right shoulder. Having lost everything that was important to him Tiberius retreated to wander the lands of Helovia on his own. The wounds on his shoulder never completely healed and so the scars are a constant reminder of how he failed.
