Languages develop differently depending on the cultures and regions found within. It's one of the reason's why so many different countries today can have vastly different methods of speech and even at times, body language. For such a reason we wish to design and establish such a lingo for Helovia.
Because we all need to be able to read and understand each other here, we do use English, but consider the common phrases you use, the insults and oaths you make. They don't usually fit well into this world, because they originated within a completely different one. Instead, let's turn those comfortable phrases we use into something that suits Helovia. If ever you find yourself typing or thinking of one, try a little research to figure out where and why it originated, and then how you might manipulate that to work here.
The phrase finder site is a handy tool for this!
Below is the compilation of Helovian turns of phrase and insults. This is by no means something that must be used, but is a nice resource. We encourage anyone and everyone to add to this list :]
