Name That Globe

I was thinking about how Isilme and Helovia are on the same globe, and I was wondering why we haven't come up with a name for it, yet. Even better, we could come up with a sort of solar system type thing. Maybe the planet has more than one moon, or something? Just spit balling here. xD

What do you guys think?

I like the idea, but I think the name should have the same feel as Isilme and Helovia, whatever it is.

as Alex mentioned I did come up with a name: Agar, it means blood...in either latin or drow I forget. Although that doesn't necessarily be the name we have to use, but it's what I went with for the idea, not that everyone kills each other here, but that on this planet the lifeforms are fed by blood. My idea was that the 6 gods that ruled Isilme oversaw all the lands in Agar and beyond. They gave rise to 'blood creatures' in Agar, and gave a section of land to certain species which were higher than the others (isilme horses over regular horses), but that they also ruled over other planets where life was made from a different sort of essence.


As far as the Gods being only 3 here and appearing as hybrids, that's more tamme's place as Helovia's lore and history is her making, but since it's assumed to be on the same globe as Isilme, I've been thinking of it as... Isilme's 6 gods are not gone or dead, they are the 3 gods here. Gods appear in the form the mortals see them as, but have no true form, they just are or exist in a manner we cannot conceive, so they appear as those who worship them are able to understand them as. They do not try to shatter the fragile realities their worshipers create, hence although its the same gods, they don't speak of Isilme memories or take on the same appearance.

Sorta like, how we have all these different religions today. Or take the greeks, with all their gods, it's not as if they died they're just seen in different ways in other cultures. idk.

ANYWAY back to the name, Isilme is moonlight in drow, Anarore was dawn ind row also I believe. Helovia is way of the sun in latin, and again I forget whether agar is latin or drow, but I think sticking to those languages, or even just creating a word would be best.

As for a name, I like Agar. I also think it would be awesome to have two moons or something. Just sayin'. xD

The gods thing that Blu said is really cool. I think the six gods of Isilme take the hybrid form of three gods here.

As for the Globe, something latin would be cool I think. I have been trying to think of names that the creatures would use for their world. Like, we named our globe, "Earth". What would they call theirs?

World = "ORBIS"
Large Ground = "TERRASUMA"
Large Skies = "SUMACAELUS"
Bright Stars = "ASTRALUX"
Giving Ground = "TERRGRATIA"

As for the solar system, I am a HUGE geek when it comes to space. I think it would be cool if there was like a total eclipse phenomena like in Heroes or Pitch Black where the two moons and the sun all eclipse each other. During this eclipse, all of the powers and magic could completely disappear. Also, I think that their planet should be very close to or following in orbit of another planet. That way, on clear nights during certain seasons, they can see the other world in the distance and it would have pretty rings.

Also, I think there should be a permanent Vega system nearby where a star has been in the process of dying for millions of years. Perhaps this star's death has tension among the gods.

-loves blu and tamme's ideas- they're both soo good. And I love the concept because it allows for multiple sites that exist in tandem with one another. I've looked around and can't really see any other sites like that. I mean, there could be like three other sites that all connect back to helovia the way this concept is set up. =) Perhaps, if we get multiple sites, we could have massive across site wars or places where they all meet and talk. Its just awesome
But thats just me on cold medicene...so it might seem more awesome to me right now than it actually is.lmao. Tho i love the idea of creating our own solar system. =)

I think it would be amazing! Remember how we had all those characters from Vanthra come to Isilme? I think it would be so neat if someone made a site for Vanthra, and some other places some of our characters came from.

Tamme, I love that idea. :o I think you should definitely work on writing something about this and setting it in stone. xD
