She will make sure to check up on all aspects of the herd, even ones she doesn't normally handle, just to make sure that things are going smoothly. - Will appoint, and is in charge of, all Diplomats, Judges, and Merchants. If any horse is not doing their duty she also has the right to relieve them of their position. - Doubles as a Judge and has the right of final say. - Handles foreign policy affairs and trade. - Consults with other heads of herd and will consider all opinions. Military Chieftess: Smoke the Wild Rose - Overseer of military and defense. - Will appoint the Head Warrior, Warriors, and Shadows. If any horse appointed is not doing their duty she also has the right to remove them from their position. -Doubles as a Judge and has the right of final say - Will aid in foreign policy affairs as well as general trade - Is in charge of the defense of the herdlands, including the possibility for traps and other such things. She is also in charge of battle tactics and will be the horse to conduct an offense in the case of an invasion. Military Chief: ------- -Mate or partner of Military Chieftess, overseer of military and defense. - Has the power of a Judge - Will consult and rule alongside Military Chieftess Head Warrior:------- - Most experienced warrior, has direct leadership over Warriors but must listen to Military Chief/tess - Helps train warriors, potential warriors, and can advise Military Chief/tess on appointments to warrior status Warriors:------- - Responsible for keeping the herd safe from threats by regular patrolling and training - Enforcers of sentences, often appointed to act as 'Minders' - Encouraged to participate in training potential warriors of any age, more experienced the better Shadows{0/3}:------- -Will spy for the herd and within the herd if troubles arise and things must be found out. -These horses are the most loyal to the leads as they have to be extremely trustful. Judges{0/3}:------- -These three horses will handle the serious minor and major disputes of a herd. - They judge a horse's offense, see if it it true or false, and assign a punishment accordingly. - These horses must be the most fair and levelheaded as they will hold a decent amount of power. Diplomats{0/2}:------- -Will accompany Gossamer and Smoke on their initial visits to the other herdlands for peace treaties. Following these visits, if treaties and trade are established, they will visit the neighboring herds to make sure they are well and are not in need of assistance. These will also be peacekeepers. (once resources are set up) Merchants{0/2}: -These horses will conduct trade with neighboring herds - These horses will also need to be very calm, but also manipulative and convincing in order to obtain the most product. |
