The world has fallen apart. Nuclear warheads have, for the last time, fallen to earth, shattering the crust and re-aligning the tectonic plates. Mountains soared high into the heavens as a result, isolating a small population of lab-escapees and war survivors. Mutated by nuclear radiation and genetic meddling, horses are running free in Asphodel. No longer afraid of the humans; no longer trapped within stony, bleak, dismal labs- no longer injected with serums and hooked up to machines. The world is dominated by a new sort of equine.
