It is quiet; far too quiet and she is uneasy, alone with her own reflection and the birds singing in the trees. Birdsong has come with a smile, chasing away the snow with her warm hands, growing the grass green with her gentle breath. The mare leans down to graze on the tender grasses by the calm pond, biding her time.

Mauja may be king but he is not her King.
